Just like the pioneers: railroad in Madagascar

More than 20 kilometres of tracks with a total weight of more than 660 tonnes, 2700 steel sleepers weighing over 120 tonnes, and more than 250 tonnes of spare and small parts for trains and wagons as well as for the setting of the tracks – the sheer numbers are impressive, particularly as Madagascar doesn’t lie just around corner. In addition, we shipped 24 wagons because tracks are not of much use if nothing rolls on them. We let it roll on the occasion of this special major project.
